1479070 Child-resistant closures VAN BLARCOM CLOSURES Inc 14 Oct 1975 [11 Feb 1975] 42056/75 Heading B8T A metal or plastics member 5 turns in an anti-clockwise direction relative to a metal or plastics screw cap 1 unless axial pressure is applied when inclined rounded teeth on the inner side wall of member 5 engage similar inclined teeth 2 on the cap 1 to allow the cap to by unscrewed. Two further circular sets of teeth on the cap top and underside of member 5 respectively also engage on axial pressing of the member 5.
