Abstract

1478298 Selective printing GENERAL ELECTRIC CO Ltd 16 Aug 1974 [17 Aug 1973] 38970/73 Heading B6F A mosaic printer comprises a plurality of parallel strips such 16C actuable by respective electromagnets (19A-G, Figs. 3, 6, not shown) located to one side of the plurality of strips to slide longitudinally with respect to unactuated strips into contact with a displaceable print medium to form a mark thereon. The strips are returnable by a helical spring 31 common to all the strips. Specification No. 1,382,638 is referred to.
