1478288 Dental tool with protective sleeve- SIEMENS AG 9 Jan 1976 [14 Jan 1975] 00893/76 Heading A5R [Also in Divisions B3 and B4] An elongate curved dental tool 7 has its head 8 protected by a sterilisable plastics sleeve 9 which is a force fit over the thickened junction 10 with a threaded stud 6 insertable in an ultrasonic handpiece 1, the sleeve having a recess 12 to accommodate the tip 12 of the tool and prevent relative rotation between the tool and the sleeve, and a flat top 13 on which the sleeve may be stood. The handpiece may be cooled.
