1477023 Mounting arrangements for hinges JULIUS BLUM GmbH 2 Oct 1974 [10 Oct 1973] 42778/74 Heading E2F In a mounting arrangement of the type in which a hinge arm 2 has projections which slidably engage guides on a mounting plate 1, at least some of the guides 4, have openings for projections, which openings are directed away from the mounting surface and can be entered from above in a central region of the mounting plate. As shown in Fig. 1 the hinge arm 2 is provided with projections 6 which engage in guides 3, 4 by lowering the arm onto the plate then moving the arm a short distance along the direction of the guides. Two sets of guides are not necessary, one guide at each side of the plate could act in combination with a key-hole anchorage. A leaf spring and tooth arrangement allows longitudinal adjustment. In the embodiment shown in Figs. 2, 3 a pin 11 on the arm engages guides 4 via openings 7' and a yoke 9 secured by screw 10 to the arm has turned in portions which can enter the guides via end openings 9. A spring 13 engages teeth 12 and a screw 14 effects longitudinal adjustment in combination with screw 10. In a further embodiment (Figs. 4-7 not shown) inturned spring portions of the arm can engage in guides which extend halfway along the plate and a key-hole anchorage is also used. A still further embodiment (Figs. 8-10 not shown) employs a spring which extends longitudinally down the centre of the arm and engages under a guide extending halfway along the mounting plate.
