Abstract

1476563 Clocks STANDARD PACKAGING CORP 29 July 1975 31606/75 Heading G3T A clock 10 for projecting time indicia on a surface, e.g. a room ceiling, comprises a transparent disc 48 driven by the clock mechanism and having hours and minutes digit combinations 82 spaced around its periphery, a light source 90 on one side of the disc, and an adjustable focusing system 100 on the other side of the disc to focus an image of the projected indicia on the surface. As described the clock also has hours, minutes and seconds hands 52, 62, 66 visible through a glass 34 which carries hour markings (36), Fig. 2 (not shown). The focusing system includes a 45 degrees mirror and a lens which is moved axially when a flange 122 of a sleeve (102), Figs. 4, 5 (not shown) which holds the lens is turned. A switch 140 controls the lamp 90 and the clock is an alarm clock.
