Abstract

1475920 Slide/cine projector LINDACO Ltd 2 Dec 1974 51995/74 Heading G2J A projector is alternatively useable for cine and slide projection. Fig. 3 shows the projection ready for slide projection. It comprises a projection lens system 1, a slide holder 3, a condenser 6 and an optical fibre 8 extending from a light source (not shown) to a position adjacent condenser 6. The fibre 8, condenser 6 and a film feed device 5 are connected by linkage 14, 10a, 10b which is operable to convert the projector to cine by retracting condenser 6 from the light path, moving film feed device 5 into the light path, preferably together with a magnifying lens 7, and moving fibre 8 rightwards through slide holder 3 so that it terminates adjacent film feed device 5. A drive unit 4 changes the slides and drives the film.
