Abstract

1475627 Telemetering systems TEKA BAUMASCHINEN GmbH' 29 July 1975 31610/75 Heading G1N Apparatus for measuring parameters of a mass located in a rotating drum 20, Fig. 1, e.g. a cement mixer, comprises transducers 19, connected via unit 18 to toroidal coils 13, 14 mounted on the rotating head 6 of the mixer, which couple with coils 3, 4 respectively mounted on a fixed plate 1. A rotating shield 10, 11 is provided between the two coil assemblies. Power is supplied from an A.C. source 21, Fig. 5, via coils 3, 13 to rectifier unit 18" which provides D.C. to energize an oscillator 18' whose output is frequency modulated by transducers 19, e.g. in accordance with temperature and moisture content of the cement mix, and is fed out by inductively coupled coils 14, 4.
