1474493 Measuring voltage; testing television receivers GRUNDIG EMV 27 Feb 1975 [27 Feb 1974] 8319/75 Heading G1U In testing a television receiver, various test points in the individual functional circuits are connected via a multi-way connector to a test apparatus, including a corresponding number of light emitting diodes, L.E.D's, indicating the correctness or otherwise of the signals at the test points. The test apparatus may be integral with the receiver or may be a portable device with a connector element for mating with the connector element on the receiver. Direct voltages on the test points may be connected to the L.E.D's via resistor chains, or high impedance F.E.T. buffer amplifiers. Alternating or pulse signals may first be converted to direct signals or may be applied to transistors operating as threshold gates.
