Abstract

1473945 Chemical analysis GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 24 April 1974 [24 May 1973] 17906/74 Heading G1B [Also in Division G2] A dried film of stain is produced on a microscope slick by a method involving the use of sonic energy in the step(s) of dissolving the dye(s) used in water or alcohol. The filtered solutions are applied to the slide and allowed to dry. The stains disclosed are methylene azure and methylene blue; methylene blue; cresyl violet acetate; trihiodine blue. They are stated to be suitable for use on blood samples.
