Abstract

1473346 Valves BENNES MARREL 10 May 1974 [11 May 1973] 20895/74 Heading F2V A spool valve has lands 2 provided with fluid passageways 7 opening at their ends 12 into the cylindrical surface of a land and at their central portion into a recess 13. The latter is of constant trapezoidal cross-section as shown in Fig. 6. The passageways prevent fluid pressure forces in the direction of movement of the spool.
