Abstract

1473319 Valves P J HARRISON 31 May 1974 [5 June 1973] 26706/73 Heading F2V A plate closure member 21 which is slidable over plane surface 14 by an arm 18, spindle 16 and crank arm 17 to close a port 13 is subjected to a wedging action during closure through the arm 18 engaging an adjustably inclined surface 24. The closure member is biased towards the plane 14 by a spring (not shown) between members 19 and 20.
