Abstract
1471928 Electric couplings SOC INTERNATIONALE DE MECANIQUE INDUSTRIELLE SA 18 April 1974 [20 April 1973] 16956/74 Heading H2E To hold conductors 7, 7 1 , 7 3 of a flexible tape cable 1 in contact with corresponding conductors 6, 6 1 , 6 3 (6 2 not used) of a rigid system 2, rigid coupler 10, e.g. of steel bridges across widened head 4 of cable 1 with projectors 14, 141 entering slots 5, 5 1 from above. The coupler with attached tape cable is then fed forward, uprights 12, 12 1 entering slots 9, 9 1 while cut out resilient fingers 15, 151, 15 2 , 15 3 press the insulated back of the cable towards conducting segments 6, 6 1 , 6 2 , 6 3 , making contact between conductors 7-6, 7 1 - 6 1 , 7 3 -6 3 . Resilient detents 16, 16 1 in supports 13, 13 1 lock into recesses 8, 81 to secure the connection, and may be released by a suitable tool. Some conductors may be omitted as shown.
