Abstract

1471187 Refuse compactors McCLAIN INDUSTRIES Inc 4 June 1974 [6 Dec 1973] 24630/74 Heading B8C A cart for a refuse compactor as described in Specification 1,457,772 is in two sections 50, 51 hinged together about points 52 so that section 50 can be pivoted to raise end wall 55 to permit a bag of compacted material to be removed by horizontal movement. Side wall portions 56, 60 of the two sections overlap. A U-shaped member 72, 71, 73 clamps the mouth of a bag over the sides and an end of the cart.
