1470747 3 - (2 - Carbethoxyhydrazino)- 6 - [N - (2 - hydroxypropyl)ethylamino]pyridazine ISF SpA 19 Feb 1976 06572/76 Addition to 1407581 Heading C2C Novel 3 - (2 - carbethoxyhydrazino) - 6 -[N- (2 - hydroxypropyl)ethylamino]pyridazine (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof are prepared by reacting 3-chloro- or bromo - 6 - [N - (2 - hydroxypropyl)ethylamino]pyridazine with monocarbethoxyhydrazine, followed optionally by salification. Pharmaceutical compositions having hypotensive activity comprise, as active ingredient, the compound (I) and/or at least one pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, in admixture with a solid or liquid pharmaceutical diluent or carrier.
