1468472 Erasers COLUMBIA RIBBON & CARBON MFG CO Inc 31 Jan 1975 [4 Feb 1974 22 Nov 1974] 33896/76 Divided out of 1468471 Headings B6F and B6P A process for the selective and complete removal of an erroneous typed image comprises positioning over the image a correction element comprising a latent adhesive composition containing one or more soft adhesive resins, which are pressure-flowable and contain at least 10% on the weight of the composition of a particulate, inert, non-adhesive barrier material which constitutes a non-adhesive barrier layer, pressing the element against the image to cause the resin(s) to flow through the barrier layer and adhere to the erroneous image, and separating the correction element.
