1468244 Cells with tantalum disulphide electrodes EXXON RESEARCH & ENG CO 16 July 1974 [10 Sept 1973] 31433/74 Heading H1B [Also in Division C7] A cell comprising an Ag wire anode and TaS 2 cathode in aq. AgNO 3 has an open-circuit voltage of -0À14 V. With a Cu anode and aq. CuSO 4 electrolyte this voltage is -0À2 V.
