1467763 Benzodiazepines FUJISAWA PHARMACEUTICAL CO Ltd 19 March 1975 [20 March 1974] 11518/75 Heading C2C Compounds of the general formula (R 1 , 2 =H, halogen, NO 2 , NH 2 , CN, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkanesulphinyl, alkanesulphonyl, alkanoylamino, dialkylamino; R 3 =alkylene; R 4 , 5 =H, alkyl or NR 4 R 5 =ring which may contain an oxygen atom or a second nitrogen atom and/or may be substituted) and their salts are prepared by reacting the corresponding 2-thione with R 4 R 5 NR 3 )X (X = acid residue), optionally followed by salt formation. These compounds are psychotropic agents, and may be administered in the form of pharmaceutical preparations containing them in association with a carrier.
