1466502 Pulp manufacture PAPER INDUSTRIES CORP OF THE PHILIPPINES 18 Aug 1975 34313/75 Heading D2W A method of manufacturing pulp free of pitch or resin comprises digesting wood chips with a Kraft or sulphate process cooking liquor which also contains copra or a vegetable oil or a fatty acid derivative thereof, and washing the resulting cooked pulp with water to remove the soluble pitch or resin derivatives therefrom. The vegetable oil may be coconut, palm, olive, or corn oil.
