1464305 Tripods DORMAN SMITH TRAFFIC PRODUCTS Ltd 13 May 1975 [12 June 1974] 25963/74 Heading A4H [Also in Divisions E1-2] A tripod for support of a warning lamp, traffic sign, hazard barrier, &c., comprises three legs 10, 11, 12 each comprising a head portion 14 and a diverging limb 15, the head portion 14 of the legs 10, 11 being permanently joined together at 16, and a retaining loop or stirrup 13 secured to the portions 14 of legs 10, 11, the third leg 12 having its head portion 14 detachably received in a recess defined by portions 14 of legs 10, 11 and by loop 13 and having its side edges engaging the free edges 17, 18 of said portions 14, the detachable portion 14 having an extension 22 adapted for mounting a lamp &c. As shown, portions 14 comprise cylinder segments. Alternatively, they may comprise flat strips, or they may be V-shaped in section.
