Abstract
1463357 Automatic control SIEMENS AG 28 June 1974 [28 June 1973] 28946/74 Heading G3N The subject-matter of this specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 1463356, differing principally in that the effect of a transfer pulse on the dividers is amplified. The claims are concerned with an arrangement, for producing a signal representing the difference between two quantities respectively represented by first and second pulse trains in which the relative spacings of the pulses represent the quantities, comprising a first frequency divider for receiving the first and second pulse trains in opposition and a reference pulse train, a second frequency divider for receiving the reference pulse train and a signal producing means for producing a further pulse train which is pulse-width-modulated in dependence upon the phase-difference between the pulse trains produced by the dividers, which phase-difference represents the difference between the quantities.
