1462750 Removal of Cr and Zn INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 20 March 1975 [27 March 1974] 11625/75 Heading C1C A process for removing Cr and Zn from exhausted passivation baths comprises reducing Cr (VI) to Cr(III) with a reducing agent (e.g. Na or K bisulphite), agitating the solution with air whilst adjusting the pH to 9-10, adding a flocculating agent (e.g. a polyelectrolyte), and allowing the solution to settle to precipitate Cr and Zn.
