Abstract

1461596 Organosilicon nitrene coating compositions DOW CORNING Ltd 1 May 1974 [3 May 1973] 20976/73 Heading C3T [Also in Division B2] An organosilicon nitrene composition is prepared by mixing 50 parts of and 50 parts of HO-[-Si(CH 3 ) 2 O-]- x H in which x has an average value of about 10, the latter component being a wetting agent. The composition was dissolved in 900 parts hexane and applied by brushing to polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, epoxy, nylon, ABS, natural rubber, leather, polyvinyl chloride and paper sheets.
