1461515 Phase detectors SIEMENS AG 17 April 1974 [18 April 1973] 16845/74 Heading H3A A phase detector for comparing two inputs B, M comprises: a bistable circuit FF having an output Q which is set to a "1" value when both inputs assume a "1" value and is set to a "0" value when both inputs assume a "0" value; a first gate circuit NG1, I1 which produces a "1" output when the signals B, Q have a "1" value and signal M has a "0" value; and a second gate circuit NG2, I2 which produces a "1" output when the signals M, Q have a "1" value and signal B has a "0" value. The resulting outputs are trains of pulses having a width dependent on phase difference, the output appearing on line V if signal B leads signal M, and on line N if signal M leads signal B.
