Abstract

1460098 Pipe supports A P BURTON 12 May 1975 [5 Sept 1974] 38773/74 Heading F2P A support for a delivery hose to a slurry tank or silo adjustable in both vertical and horizontal planes with respect to the silo comprises a bracket 1 to be bolted to the wall of the silo having a part circular portion 5 on which a circular disc member 7 is rotatably mounted, a support member 9 comprising a rectangular frame having side portions 10 and 11 and being connected by a hinge member 12 to a chord of the disc 7, an adjustable collar being provided on a free end portion 13 of the support member to locate and retain the hose end, a lever member 15 connected to side portion 11 and extending at an inclination thereto between bars 17 and 18 of a locating member, extending perpendicularly to the plane of the disc and fixed thereto, such that the selective location of a pin 21 in any of a plurality of pairs of aligned bores 19 and 20 fix the inclination of the support member relative to the disc while the rotation of the disc is controlled by an arm member 22 and fixed by the location of a pin 23 in bores 24 in the disc 7 when aligned with corresponding bores in the part-circular portion 5 of the bracket.
