1458895 Nozzles BOC INTERNATIONAL Ltd 10 March 1975 [13 March 1974] 11199/74 Heading F4T A cutting blowpipe nozzle has a passage 2 for supplying oxygen, the passage being of uniform diameter and regularly roughened by, within the range 5Ra to 25Ra, corrugations, a screwthread, or knurled. A further oxygen passage for flame washing the workpiece may be provided, this passage is of larger diameter than passage 2, and may be of annular form surrounding above 4, and may be regularly roughened. One Ra is equal to approximately one quarter of the peak to trough (ISO standard).
