Abstract

1457615 Earthing arrangements SIEMENS AG 11 March 1974 [13 March 1973] 10664/74 Heading H2H An electrical equipment installation comprises an electrically conductive cover and an electrically conductive path between the exterior of the cover and a ground network, the path having an electrical resistance such that static electrical charge carried by a person touching the cover will be discharged without causing components within the cover to respond. The resistance of the path may be formed by a discrete resistor having a valve of 100 kohm. or cover itself may consist of a material having a similar resistance value.
