1457387 Securing winding sleeves on shafts MASCHINENFABRIK GOEBEL GmbH 1 May 1975 [4 May 1974] 18246/75 Heading F2U Winding sleeves 5 to 5d are clamped up against a flange 4 of a shaft 1 by a two part nut 6, 7 screwthreaded on the shaft, a bayonet or slide catch 10, 11 being provided between the two parts to release the clamping effect when one of the parts is rotated relatively to the other by, for example, a spanner. During a winding operation, the winding sleeves undergo axial extension due to the winding pressures and the invention provides for the ready removal of finished wound rolls by applying a spanner to a hexagon 12 before backing off the nut on its screwthread 2. The bayonet or slide catch may consist of pins 10 slidable in slots 11 each formed with a portion at right angles or inclined to a circumferential portion.
