Abstract

1456894 Measuring fluid-flow SOC INDUSTRIELLE DE L'ANHYDRIDE CARBONIQUE 11 Sept 1974 [12 Sept 1973] 39608/74 Heading G1R In a method of, or apparatus for measuring and recording quantities of gas, the gas is supplied through ducts 8, 9 and 11 at a pressure to fill a vessel 1 and when the pressure in the vessel 1 reaches a predetermined value a manometer operates a switch 5 to close a valve 3, give an impulse to a counter 6 and allow the gas in the vessel 1 to pass to a position of use by opening a valve 4. When the pressure in the vessel 1 falls to the original value the switch 5 closes the valve 4, opens the valve 3 and the cycle is repeated. The charging and discharging pressure may be above or below atmospheric pressure.
