1456341 Peroxy initiators PEROXIDCHEMIE GmbH 6 Jan 1975 [9 Jan 1974] 492/75 Heading C3P [Also in Division C2] An initiator for the cross-linking of polymers or the polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprises a triazine peroxide of the Formula II wherein R is a C 1-10 alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl group, and either n is 1 and R<SP>1</SP> is a talkyl, t-cycloalkyl, or t-aralkyl group, or n is 2 and R<SP>1</SP> is a di-t-alkylene, di-t-cycloalkylene or di-t-aralkylene group. Examples illustrate the cross-linking of polyethylene and the thermosetting of unsaturated polyester resins.
