1453650 Grinding wheels NORTON CO 11 March 1974 [12 March 1973 2 July 1973] 10755/74 Heading B3D A grinding wheel comprises a peripheral abrasive portion 14 and a core portion 16 to which the abrasive portion is attached, the core being formed from a particulate first metallic component, a particulate second metallic component and a particulate resin component all bonded together, the first component consisting of 40-90% by core volume of a metal selected from Al, Cu and a mixture thereof the second component being from 2-35% by core volume of a metal consisting of Sn or Sn alloy with a melting point of 350‹ C. or less, the resin comprising from 5-30% of core volume and 0-15% of a solid lubricant consisting of graphite boron nitride or P.T.F.E. or a mixture thereof, the inclusion of the solid lubricant being optional
