Abstract
1453565 Substituted sulphonamides and agricultural uses thereof IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 3 Sept 1975 [17 Sept 1974] 40423/74 Heading C2C The invention comprises a compound of formula wherein R is a phenyl group which may be substituted with halogen atoms. This compound may be obtained by reaction of anilines with 2- halosulphonyl-propionitriles. The invention also relates to a plant growth regulating composition which contains as an active ingredient a compound of the invention in admixture with a carrier comprising a diluent and preferably containing a surface active agent.
