1453559 Filler metal MESSER GRIESHEIM GmbH 1 Aug 1975 [2 Aug 1974] 32257/75 Heading C7A A filler metal of composition:- Ni 40 to 70% Fe 30 to 60% Mn 1 to 6% Nb 0À5 to 3% Si 0À01 to 0À5% C 0À01 to 1% Ta 0 to 0À6% replacing an equal weight of Nb, Incidental ingredients 0 to 0À5% The filler metal may be used in the form of a solid or cored wire electrode for gas-shielded welding, or in the form of wire or strip for submerged arc and electro-slag welding or in pulsed arc gas-shielded welding using mixtures of argon and carbon dioxide or argon, carbon dioxide and oxygen.
