1453389 Stabilizers for polymers CIBAGEIGY AG 23 Dec 1974 [28 Dec 1973] 55402/74 Headings C3P and C3R [Also in Division C2] Novel U.V. stabilizers for polymers comprise pyrrolidine derivatives of the formula wherein X is hydrogen, oxyl, hydroxyl, (C 1 - C 12 ) alkyl, CH 2 CH 2 OCH 3 , (C 3 or C 4 ) alkenyl or CH 2 C#CH; R<SP>1</SP> is hydrogen (C 1 -C 20 ) alkyl or phenethyl and R<SP>2</SP> is (C 1 -C 7 ) alkyl. Conventional phenolic and triazole stabilizers may also be present.
