Abstract

1453371 Brushes C KAESER 8 Feb 1974 [30 April 1973] 05812/74 Heading A4K A brush for personal hygiene comprises a body 1 having a socket 15 connectable with a water supply and communicating selectably with one of two ducts 14 and (43) not shown. If water is directed through duct 14, it enters a mixing chamber 8, in which is situated a perforated soap holder 44, from which it passes through ducts 13 to drive turbine wheels 22 which are mounted in chambers 6 and to which are releasably attached brushes 26. If water is directed through duct (43) it passes directly to a chamber 18 beneath chambers 8, 6 and leaves the brush without driving the rotatable brushes 26. A further, fixed brush 30 for stabilization and a skirting brush 35 for confining the water leaving the brush may also be provided.
