Abstract

1453110 Bobbins GRETENER AG 25 March 1974 [3 April 1973] 13060/74 Heading B8M A radially compressible, cylindrical or conical bobbin tube of thermoplastic material comprises rigid longitudinal webs between and connected to which are elastic supporting elements each made up of a flexible U-shaped element consisting of two arms joined by a yoke, the arms being connected at their ends with one web and the yoke being connected to the next adjacent web by a rigid element. The tube shown in Fig. 1 (compressed in Fig. 3) consists of webs 2 and supporting elements 3 formed by U-shaped elements 4 each comprising arms 5 and yoke 6 and a rigid linear web 7: the arms 5 of every second element 4 extend in the opposite direction to those of the preceding element. In another tube, Fig. 4 (compressed in Fig. 6) the same elements of a supporting element 3 lie opposite one another on both sides of one longitudinal web 9.
