Abstract

1452097 Roof covering DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 13 Nov 1973 [14 Nov 1972] 52727/73 Heading E1W A method of protecting a surface sealing sheet 2 on a building structure 3 comprises applying thereto a laminate comprising an elastic synthetic foam sheet 1b bonded to an elastic sheet or film of synthetic plastics material 1a. The building structure may be a cellar roof, or terrace or flat roof to which gravel, pebbles or slabs is subsequently applied. The preferred material for the protective layer is a soft P.V.C. film or sheet with a polypropylene or partially cross linked polyethylene foam layer. Joints in the protective layer are covered by sealing strips 4 welded thereover.
