1451938 Trueing grinding wheels ERNST WINTER & SOHN 14 Dec 1973 [15 Dec 1972] 58165/73 Heading B3D A tool for dressing a grinding wheel comprises a holder 2 to which is connected a support 3 for a cutting member consisting of a sintered plate 4 provided with a support member 5, the plate consisting of mult-crystalline diamond material and/or cubic crystalline boron nitride material with a concentration of at least 80% by volume, a thickness of 0À3 to 1À0 mm. and a cutting edge of 5 to 20 mm. The cutting edge may be in the form of an are at right angles to the working direction A. A plate 4 is soldered to the support 3 and the support member 5 is tapered. The curve of the cutting edge may be produced during use.
