Abstract

1450935 Display devices J & P COATES Ltd and BYAM DESIGN & MFG LTD 12 March 1974 [13 March 1973] 12021/73 Heading A4T A display device, e.g. for articles mounted on cards, comprises a frame having two parallel upright members 1 and cross-bars 4 interconnecting them, and at least one display unit including a bar 5 having hooks 6 for engaging a selected cross-bar 4 and devices 7 for supporting the articles. The bars 4 are supported at their ends by channel bars 9, the bar 5 having projecting ends 5A for engaging flanges 10 of the channel bars 9. A series of bars 5 may be provided, Fig. 4, each with support pins 7, and stringers 8, supporting the bars 5 and defining the hooks 6, may have bent ends 8B for engaging a second cross-bar 4. The device may be supported on a plinth (12), Fig. 5 (not shown), preferably pivotably on axles (13), and illumination (not shown) may be provided for.
