1450881 Fluoride gels AMALGAMATED DENTAL CO Ltd 29 April 1975 [14 March 1974] 11347/74 Heading A5B A gel for the anti-cariogenic treatment of teeth comprises an aqueous solution of a watersoluble source of fluoride ions gelled with xanthan gum. The water-soluble source of fluoride ion may be sodium fluoride, potassium fluoride. stannous fluoride, titanium tetrafluoride, sodium monofluorophosphate or an amine fluoride. The aqueous solution is preferably an aqueous solution of sodium fluoride, hydrofluoric acid and orthophosphoric acid.
