1450669 Azo-chromium mixed complex dyestuffs BAYER AG 20 Feb 1975 [21 Feb 1974] 7164/75 Heading C4P Azo-chromium mixed complex dyestuffs which are free from reactive groups, have the general formula in which A denotes the radical of a monoazo dyestuff which in the form of the free acid corresponds to the general formula B denotes the radical of a monoazo dyestuff which corresponds to the general formula in which R 1 and R 2 independently of each other denotes an alkyl or aryl group, a carboxylic acid amide group which is optionally monosubstituted or disubstituted by alkyl or aryl, a carboxyl, carboxylic acid ester or cyano group, X and Y independently of each other represent a hydrogen, chlorine or bromine atom or a nitro group, a sulphonamide group which is optionally monosubstituted or disubstituted by alkyl or aryl, an alkylsulphonyl, arylsulphonyl or cyano group, a carboxylic acid amide group which is optionally monosubstituted or disubstituted by alkyl or aryl, a carboxyl, alkyl, alkylsulphonylamino, arylsulphonylamino, alkylcarbonylamino, arylcarbonylamino, N- alkyl - N - alkylsulphonylamino or N - alkyl- N - arylsulphonylamino group, and the rings C and D are optionally substituted by 1 to 3 substituents from nitro, chlorine, bromine, sulphonamide which is optionally monosubstituted or disubstituted by alkyl or aryl, alkylsulphonyl or arylsulphonyl, cyano, carboxylic acid amide which is optionally monosubstituted or disubstituted by alkyl or aryl, carboxyl, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylsulphonylamino or aryl sulphonylamino, alkylcarbonylamino or arylcarbonylamino or N - alkyl - N - alkylsulphonylamino or N - alkyl - N - arylsulphonylamino, and in which the number of carboxyl groups in the dyestuff of Formula (I) is at most 1. The dyes give a yellow-tinged to bluishtinged red colour, and are suitable for dyeing and printing nitrogen-containing fibre materials such as wool, silk, leather, polyamides or polyurethanes or mixtures such as wool and polyamide.
