Abstract

1450388 Vehicle direction indicators LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 19 Sept 1973 [11 Oct 1972] 46776/72 Addition to 1436998 Heading G4Q In this addition to the invention of claim 4 of the parent Specification 1,436,998 the capactitor, 88, is connected across the baseemitter of the transistor, 86, and the relay winding, 85, is in the collector circuit of the transistor. As described additional features are (i) a transistor 68 with a capacitor 76 to afford the delay in the direction indicting lamp circuits and (ii) a hazard warning switch with contacts 77a, 77b, 77c to effect simultaneous flashing of all direction indicating lamps. In a modification diodes 69, 71 are omitted and transistor 68 emitter is earthed; the lamps will then be dimmed when the hazard warning circuit is in operation. (For Figure see next column.)
