Abstract

1450366 Camera mechanisms BALDAWERKE PHOTOGRAPHISCHE GERATE 20 March 1975 [26 Sept 1974] 11762/75 Heading G2A A planetary gear system which transmits driving movement to a film take-up spool in a camera and to a shutter cocking mechanism comprises a ring gear 7 having internal teeth 7a meshing with at least three planet wheels 6, both gear 7 and wheels 6 each having also a smooth rolling surface 6b, 7b. The diameters of the rolling surfaces 6b, 7b correspond respectively to the diameters of the pitch circles 6c, 7c of the planet wheel teeth 6a and the ring gear teeth 7a. The arrangement is such that the respective end-faces 6g and 7g of teeth 6a and 7a do not contact one another, so that they mesh only with a sun wheel (4), Fig. 1, (not shown), from which sun wheel the drive for the film feed is taken. The planet wheels are supported from a carrier (3) from which the drive for the shutter cocking, and also possibly rotation of the flashcube, is taken. Ring gear 7 has a milled or grooved periphery 7e by means of which it can be rotated from outside the camera casing.
