Abstract

1450228 Spirit levels MESSWERKZEUG KG GUSTAV ULLRICH 5 April 1974 [11 Oct 1973] 15301/74 Heading G1F A spirit level comprising a body 1, a level element 3 and a mounting 2 for the level element is provided with ducts 10, 11, 12 along which bonding adhesive is injected towards interfaces between the body, element and housing to adhere said interfaces together. As shown, the mounting 2 which may additionally be secured by screws 5 to the body 1 is provided with a chamber 9 in which a piston 8 is movable to inject adhesive 4 in the chamber 9 through the ducts 10, 11, 12 to the interfaces. Alternatively a capsule containing the adhesive may be provided or two chambers for supplying the adhesive may be provided, particularly for vertical levels.
