1434941 Adhesive-applying apparatus MOLINS Ltd 29 June 1973 [30 June 1972] 30816/72 Heading D1L [Also in Division B2] Liquid adhesive is pumped from a container 1 to a nozzle 4 by a pump 2 and is returned to the container by a return conduit and a pump 6; a second conduit 14 carries an inert gas, such as nitrogen, from above the liquid in the container to a chamber surrounding the nozzle, a return conduit 16 for the inert gas being connected to the adhesive return conduit 5. The inert gas prevents oxidation in and around the nozzle and is fed from a cylinder 18.
