Abstract

1449815 Lintel HENDERSON SAFETY TANK CO Ltd 8 Aug 1973 [11 Aug 1972] 37604/72 Heading E1K The free edges of the flanges 51 or 61 of a channel sectioned lintel lie in a common plane perpendicular to the flanges and the channel is reinforced by at least three transverse plates 53 or 63' secured to one flange and at least either the other flange or the channel's web. A shallow channel sectioned reinforcement 54 or 64 (optionally with further transverse plates 63") is secured between said free edges. A lazy-Z sectioned damp course 56 may have its lower flange either co-planar with the lower flange 51 of the lintel or connected to a further channel member 57. Reference has been directed by the comptroller to Specifications 1298797 and 1298798.
