Abstract

1449654 Communication system TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L M ERICSSON 6 Nov 1973 [7 Nov 1972] 51543/73 Heading G4H A communication system (e.g. using FM wireless signals) comprises a central station which cyclically addresses one or more remote stations equipped with manually operable acknowledgment devices, alarm emitters and acknowledgment transmitters; an alarm is produced at a remote station whenever its address is received and, when the acknowledgment device has been actuated, an acknowledgment signal is transmitted to the central station simultaneously with the emission of each alarm signal. As shown, stations 1, 2, 3 are called in sequence giving rise to alarm signals b. The acknowledgment device 2<SP>1</SP> is actuated at station 2, whereupon an acknowledgment signal 2c is produced with the next alarm signal 2b. Thereafter, address 2a is removed from the calling sequence.
