1449486 Plant growth regulating agents CIBA-GEIGY AG 12 Oct 1973 [13 Oct 1972 28 March 1973] 47856/73 Heading C1B [Also in Divisions A5 and C2] Plant growth regulating agents comprise α- cyano-α-hydroxyiminoacetamide derivatives of the formula N#C-C(= NOR 2 )CONHR 1 , wherein R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or an aminoearbonyl group, and R 2 represents an unsubstituted or mono- or poly-C 1 -C 4 alkyl-#- hydroxyethyl-, or dodecyl-substituted ammonium ion, or R 1 represents an aminocarbonyl group, and R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali or alkaline earth metal ion or an iron, cobalt, zinc, manganese or copper ion, or R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, and R 2 represents a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted ammonium ion or an ion of the formula in which M is an n-valent metal.
