Abstract

1449101 Security casing for padlock G L BACH 20 Jan 1975 [25 Jan 1974] 2464/75 Heading E2A A disposable security casing 10, for a padlock, has a base 4, walls 6, 6 and wails 5, 5, the casing conforming to a padlock body and having flexible tongues 8, 8, each of which projects from the respective wall 5, each tongue 8 having a hole 9 therein receiving a respective one of the legs, of the shackle 3. The casing 10 may be made of synthetic plastics material, fabrics or cardboard, for example, may be provided with a pocket 7 for receiving a combination dial assembly 2 of the padlock, and may have a drain hole formed therein. The pocket 7 may have a tear-out portion 7a which can expose the knob of the dial assembly 2. An identification mark is provided on at least one of the walls.
