Abstract

1449097 Spray producers HANS GROHE KG 21 March 1974 [29 March 1973] 12738/74 Heading B2F A sprayhead comprises annular nozzle structures 6, 7 mounted on a housing 1 by means of a screwthreaded securing ring 2, the nozzle structures being axially displaceable relative to housing 1 and having elongated discharge outlets 11, 12 respectively provided on their peripheries. The nozzle structures 6, 7 have frustoconical radial extensions 8, 9 at their lower ends, extension 8 coacting with a frustoconical surface 5 of the securing ring 2 and extension 9 coacting with an internal frustoconical surface 13 of nozzle structure 6. The nozzle structures are retained in their positions of use by a spring 15 mounted between a base 14 of nozzle structure 7 and guide ribs 16 of the housing 1. In use, water enters the housing 1 and passes through flow channels 18, 19 to the discharge outlets 12, 11 respectively. Should a blockage occur in the discharge outlets, one or both of the nozzle structures 6, 7 may be axially displaced inwardly by exerting a force in the direction of arrow 20 to increase the outlet cross-section and clear the blockage
