Abstract

1448706 Wells &c BIG THREE INDUSTRIES INC 9 Nov 1973 52207/73 Heading E1F A sand bridge 43 is removed from a well by running a tube 33 to adjacent the top of the bridge and whilst lowering the tube through the bridge supplying gas by the tube to fluidize the sand and circulate it from the well. Liquid nitrogen is pumped through a heater 29 to form the gas. If the well is filled with liquid and impurities above the bridge gas may be supplied by the pipe as it descends to the bridge, the gas circulating the liquid and impurities from the well.
